So Just Who... Or What... Was Random?
High school kids all around the world pick up guitars or sit behind drum kits, taking over their parents' garage or basement for ear-splitting practice sessions marked more by enthusiasm than skill. Trying to emulate their musical idols, teenagers seem to have a universal desire to tap into the rock'n'roll fantasy and live out their dreams.
We were no different.
With the benefit of hindsight (fully aware of the murkiness provided by nostalgia), we realize that perhaps Random wasn't the most talented group of amateur musicians to have ever graced a stage. But we had dreams and we certainly had the enthusiasm element... in spades.
